One to Watch:
New kid on the block making big impact on the trough light market! For
too long the trough light market has been dominated by a small number of
suppliers, limiting the choice available to customers in terms of advanced
technology and price competition. Spectron
LED are a specialist LED company selling goods predominantly to signmakers

interface drivers to work alongside the centre’s existing lighting control
system. Spectron also supply Blackpool Council and their annual ‘Illuminations’,

cost of the Lumenlinear-X LED trough light is considerably lower than similar
products on the marker, though when you see the product it is clear that
quality has not been compromised. “We achieve this by using a remote power
supply unit which enables us to use the slimmest profile body around. Less
weight also allows the brackets to be slimmer and more aesthetically pleasing.
By using less parts, simplifying the manufacturing process and implementing our
purpose built LED modules we are able to offer our customers excellent value
for money”, Managing Director Ivan Lew tells us. It
is clear to see that Spectron LED are proud of what they have achieved in the
Lumenlinear-X and it is clear to see why. A lot of hard work and dedication has
gone into the design and manufacture of the trough light, with years of continuous
improvement and by regularly implementing the latest and most efficient LED
modules; optimising design; and increasing optional bracket designs. Future
plans include the development of a fully integrated SOLAR POWER system called
the SPECTRON SOLAR. It is expected to be fully integrated before the end of the
year, with design work already complete and on-going testing currently
underway. The cost they assure us is considerably lower than
any other solar powered system on the market and will be very affordable. All
in all Spectron LED seem to be making a big impact on the trough market and
with a trough light as good as theirs, it’s not hard to understand why. They
